About Joe and Sharon
Joe Babb has over 30 years of experience designing electronics and working with audio circuitry especially for music and sound reinforcement applications. He began working on tube amps in high school, graduated to transistors in college and over the years has written software and worked on integrated circuit development. Joe plays acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. He took up steel guitar around 2004 and became fascinated with the complexity of pedals and levers and the rich sounds available from the instrument. He has serviced and modified many of the popular brands of steel guitar and has the machinery and knowledge necessary to fabricate many of the parts for these guitars. Each instrument must be adjusted to the playing style and preferences of each player. Joe is a graduate of the American School of Piano Tuning and Repair and uses a Peterson 490-ST strobe tuner to give you the best possible sound from your piano.
Sharon Babb has extensive experience playing and teaching guitar, dulcimer, and piano. She has a degree in music theory, and taught ear training, theory, guitar, and piano at the Berkshire School of Music for several years. She also gives private lessons and incorporates ear training and chord theory in both guitar and piano lessons. Lessons are designed for each individual student because every student has different goals. Sharon enjoys teaching all ages. You are never too old to enjoy learning about music. Sharon has performed for many years throughout the U.S. and lately has played pedal steel guitar at various pedal steel guitar conventions.
We enjoy playing and singing at events – parties, weddings, and clubs.
We develop rich harmonies and have a wide variety of songs. Whether you need music for large venues or small, intimate gatherings, we’d love to provide a musical atmosphere for your event.
